The saying 'silence is golden' is true
My story, Stephanie
From an early age I have had an interest in all aspects of spirituality and alternative health, and this has led me to live gently on the earth , raising children , creating beautiful spaces, and developing my spiritual awareness.
In my late twenties I discovered the power of sound, using Himalayan bowls and chanting to reach deep levels of peace.
Through my thirties I faced many life challenges which though difficult at the time deepened my emotional understanding and empathy for others.
As my children grew and became more independent I was able to train in Himalayan and Crystal Bowls with Rob and June Dickerson of Reiki Sounds and later to work with Debbie Walker at Suara sounds to learn about the Power and Peace of tuning forks.
As time moved on I entered a very dark time in my life. I was working full time as a special needs’ teacher and busy at home with family. On the outside all was well, a loving husband and happy children living in a beautiful area and enjoying my work and studying . But inside everything was crumbling and my physical health was deteriorating too .
Eventually I stopped working and struggled to do the most basic tasks, my physical and mental health at an all-time low.
Throughout this time, I sensed my way through and knew that Sound, nature, meditation, gentle movement, and a lot of self-care were the best path back to health for me. So very gently I started on the path to recovery all the time keeping my wellbeing at the centre of my focus .
I feel this “Dark night of the soul” and my healing path back to health has enabled me to provide a deep understanding and caring approach to supporting others through their own dark times .
In 2020 I qualified as A Sacred Drumming practitioner and love the additional power and direction this brings to my work and most recently I have completed my Crystal therapy diploma which means I can offer crystal therapies too.

My story, Kevin
I grew up as a lively and inquisitive child having fun with friends and playing in the Woods. At home life had its difficult times, with my younger sister dying age 4 when I was only 9 and eventually my parents parting when I was 16 .
This left me alone and fending for myself, I became an independent and confident young man.
When my second sister died aged 29, I felt devastated not to be able to help her with her cancer but took comfort in giving her love and support. This loss of two sisters at a young age has given me a real sense of the joy in every day as life can be so short .
I had always lived a normal active life, working as a plasterer, and having family fun at home. When I met Steph we were both 40 and I started to become more aware of the spiritual life and how emotional energy can affect our well-being. We both trained with Rob and June Dickerson to work with Crystal and Himalayan bowls, with individuals and to hold sound baths. This training opened my mind to a whole new level of understanding and led to my passion for Himalayan bowls and later gongs.
In 2017 I completed my gong training with Sheila Whittaker and find the peace and healing they create for myself and others is amazing.
My special areas of interest are supporting those with depression anxiety and stress. Currently I offer evening Gong baths and by arrangement Gong experience sessions where you can have a go at playing yourself . Do Get in touch to find out more .
